Veracloud Guarantees Results with MigrationWiz

In a conversation with John Ellul, Co-Founder of Veracloud, we learned how they rely on MigrationWiz as a first step in building modern Microsoft ecosystems.
The Veracloud Migration Methodology

Global Energy Broker
Veracloud worked with an energy broker that has locations around the globe; four offices in Europe and one in the United States. A total of 1,000 users and 40 domains needed to be migrated from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
What made this migration complex was how the company was using Google Workspace on Microsoft Outlook, and of course, the company wanted every one of those emails to move intact to their new Microsoft environment.
“This project was a very unique case due to its size and complexity of the hybrid approach of how they used both Microsoft and Google,” said John. “It took some time, but together with BitTitan and their IT team on the ground, we got the job done.”
Online Gaming
Malta has attracted a large number of online gaming companies to its islands. When these companies mature beyond the startup stage, they come to Veracloud to modernize their IT ecosystem and enhance security. This often means migrating from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
One gaming customer had fifteen different Google Workspace tenants—one for every domain. They wanted them all consolidated into one. Veracloud created a plan, and within two months, everybody was successfully migrated.
Another gaming company had been putting off a project for around three years because they were worried about the complexity of migrating their 200 users. Veracloud was given a two-month deadline but ended up finishing in three weeks.
“We walked the customers through our Migration Methodology, showing them all the steps and making sure the key players would be available to meet the deadlines,” said John. “But that’s not all. We also showed how we would save them roughly 45,000 euros a year by consolidating licenses and using tools available in Microsoft 365.”
When the customer saw the projected ROI, they approved the project almost immediately. With MigrationWiz in their toolkit, Veracloud went right to work and got it done.
A Long Relationship with BitTitan
Veracloud has been partnering with BitTitan since they started. They’ve investigated other migration tools but never found a reason to stray from MigrationWiz. They like how the tool has continued to evolve, yet it doesn’t take much manpower to run it.
“Sure, we can use free tools, but it doesn’t give us the full granularity and audit trail that we get from MigrationWiz,” said John. “In order for us to stand behind our 100% data integrity guarantee, we need to be able to connect to any source and transfer that data intact to Microsoft.”
