MigrationWiz Quarterly

There’s a lot going on here at BitTitan, and we want to make sure you don’t miss any of it. Here’s the latest product information along with opportunities to increase your skills or come visit us in person. Click the links to learn more.

What’s New

Here’s the latest in MigrationWiz features and upgrades:

Conversation Fidelity in Teams-to-Teams Migrations – ‘Document Versions’ and ‘Document Metadata’ are now available as a default settings for Teams-to-Teams migrations. You can migrate up to 25 document versions including the current version. In addition, custom metadata columns can now be created at the destination document library before metadata values are migrated. This allows you to retain the user collaboration structure in the destination environment after the migration.

Migrating from GoDaddy – You can now use MigrationWiz to move from GoDaddy to Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, or Microsoft Teams. This includes all email components as well as server-side rules, folder permissions, and calendar acceptance status emails.

Google Groups Migration Updates – Now you have the option of selecting ‘Mailbox’ or ‘Archive’ during a Google Groups to Microsoft 365 shared mailbox migration project. We’ve also updated the Google groups summary page to include comprehensive migration guides.

Bug Fixes

The following issues have been addressed:

Single recovery mode – Users were experiencing a situation in which Exchange was entering import single recovery mode when throttling was detected. This issue was fixed by extending the wait time to avoid EWS dropping into single recovery mode.

Dropped messages – To avoid having to execute multiple migration passes in order to get missing data, MigrationWiz will now capture dropped messaged from AMR job queue.

Identify and improve logging – Users were finding that the manifest object count provided after the AMR call was incomplete. MigrationWiz now compares the root object count API to the AMR job manifest to confirm accuracy.

Bogged down memory – We’ve instituted a new memory release strategy to address ‘Queued’ and ‘Very Slow’ migrations at our US Datacenter.

Contact us if you have any questions about what’s new with BitTitan, or if we can help you choose licenses and get started with a migration.
