2015 Year in Review: The Year of BitTitan

2015 was such a successful year for BitTitan. We had a lot of fun and got a lot of sh*t done! Here is a look back at some of the key events that made 2015 such a successful year.

A New Home

January 5, 2015 marked a significant milestone for BitTitan: We opened our doors to our new highly anticipated office. After more than doubling the employee count from 2013, it was time to start a new chapter and expand the BitTitan culture. The 17,000 square-foot office was designed to be high-tech, functional, and fun.

BitTitan Singapore also moved to a larger new space as well with unlimited access to food and snacks in a fun get IT done culture!

BitTitan Goes Curling

We took a break from the busy office and went curling! The team learned how to slide 44 lb. granite stones across the cold ice, to the smaller than it seems, target. We definitely had a lot to learn but had a blast doing it!

2015 Awards

We had the privilege of being nominated and winning some amazing awards in 2015 showcasing us in the local community.

  • 425 Magazine 2015 Best Office Space
  • 425 Magazine 2015 Best Medium Size Company
  • Seattle Business Magazine 2015 Top 2 Medium Businesses To Work For

Attended Many Conferences

In 2015 we attended a ton of conferences and trade shows around the world. Here are just a few of the shows we attended.

  • Cloud Expo Europe, London, England
  • SharePoint Fest, Washington, D.C., Seattle, WA, Chicago, Illinois
  • SMB TechFest
  • Microsoft Ignite, Chicago, Illinois
  • Automation Nation, Orlando, Florida
  • Channel Link, Dallas, Texas
  • Microsoft WPC, Orlando, Florida
  • Australia Partner Conference, Gold Coast, Australia
  • German Partner Conference, Bremen, Germany
  • Operator Cloud Summit, Prague, Czech Republic
  • European SharePoint Conference, Stockholm, Sweden

Bike Month and Plank Challenges

Trying to start 2015 on a healthy note, we held a Bike to Work Month where we challenged our local and remote employees to get out and bike to/from work! Our top leader, Tina, ended up taking 28 trips during the month of May!

We also had a Plank Challenge where 12 employees started out with a one-minute plank and had to increase their plank time by 10 seconds each day, eventually making it all the way to an eight-and-a-half-minute plank!

Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Orlando, Florida

We attended the Microsoft WPC in 2015 and had an amazing time! At the conference we announced our first ever BitTitan Partner of the Year Awards, showcasing partners who go above and beyond to “Get Sh*t Done.” We were also a proud sponsor of the IAMCP Charity Golf Tournament and hosted a kickoff party with Nuix at the local Howl at the Moon. We met thousands of attendees and everyone had a blast! WPC 2015 was definitely one for the books!! We can’t wait for next year’s conference!

Volunteer Days

BitTitan was involved in giving back to the community throughout the year and worked with local charities Hopelink and Magic Works to help give back. We spent a day with Hopelink filling back-to-school backpacks for Seattle area kids for the upcoming school year. We also partnered with Magic Works and helped make sandwiches, served food and help distribute donated clothing in downtown Seattle during the cold holiday season.

Annual Summer Picnic

The BitTitan crew took some time out for the 2nd annual summer picnic. Employees and their families enjoyed food, games, a water slide, a bouncy house, caricatures, animal balloons and a chance to win Seahawks tickets! Needless to say it was a good time.

Code and Cocktails Open House

During the Seattle Startup Recruit Week, we held a Code and Cocktails event that was filled with food, drinks, challenges and prizes. The event had an opening coding challenge and was a great way to meet potential future employees!

We also held the same event in our Singapore office!

We Traveled the World

BitTitan employees enjoyed our unlimited PTO policy and traveled around the world with their friends and family in 2015! We had employees travel near and far to Australia, Israel, Iceland and everywhere in between!

Launch of MSPComplete

In October, 2015 we launched the highly anticipated MSPComplete, a comprehensive enablement platform for Managed Service Providers which helps partners grow across every area of their business. MSPComplete helps you sell more Office 365, Azure and complementary cloud services, onboard more cloud workloads faster ad service your customers throughout their entire cloud journey.

BabyBits

Our family is growing. Ten new BabyBits were born in 2015. Congrats to all the new parents!

Top 25 European Office 365 Influencers

Our very own Jethro and Hans were selected as finalists for the 2015 Top 25 European Office 365 Influencer Award at the European SharePoint Conference. Jethro ended up as the #3 top influencer and Hans was the #10 top influencer.

Azure Starter Kit

In December we launched the Azure Starter Kit which offers tools and sales education to help partners sell, onboard and service Microsoft Azure.

Holiday Party

We held our 2015 Holiday Party at the W in downtown Seattle. The BitTitan team spent the evening relaxing and celebrating an amazing year! We enjoyed the entertainment of a hip-hop violinist, took hundreds of pictures in the photo booth, ate an amazing meal and danced the night away to a live band.

Doubled in Size, Again!

In 2015 we doubled again in size! That means we more than doubled our employees and revenue this last year. We also more than tripled our revenue and employees in the LATAM, Europe and APAC international markets!

Next Up

Thanks to our BitTitan team, 2015 was filled with growth, success and a lot of fun. We plan on making 2016 even better!
